DIGNITY
OUR
PHILOSOPHY
We value our residents’ independence and provide individual care accordingly.
Each resident has a care plan, tailored to their needs, which has been developed from information provided by themselves, their families, social workers, the NHS and their GP.
This plan provides our staff with detailed information on general health, medication and dependency requirements, to help provide the best level of care and help create the relationships that are vital for residents’ wellbeing. These plans are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they cover any change in circumstances.
Our care is geared towards residents living a full and active life within the home, making their own choices and decisions and maintaining and developing relationships.
All our rooms are private and on ground floor level for ease of access. Residents are encouraged to personalise their accommodation with mementos and small pieces of their own furniture.
The home’s sitting room, sun room, dining room and garden provide space to socialise and the activities room offers the chance to join in a range of events, from singing and music making to craft work, as part of our ethos to help all enjoy physical, intellectual, emotional and social wellbeing.
