STANDARDS

WE ARE NEVER COMPLACENT

We are proud of our high standards and 10-year track record of 4-6 stars from the Care Inspectorate.

We are never complacent and are always looking for ways to better serve our residents.

The home is inspected annually without prior notice by the Care Inspectorate, and in the last 10 years it has consistently graded our services at top of the range 4 (good), 5 (very good) or 6 (excellent). The most recent report can be viewed here.

Care is, and always will be, our top priority.

INDEPENDENCE

Our independence and charitable status are both very important to us.

We have no head office to fund from residents fees, no loan interest charges, no rent to pay and no shareholders drawing dividends.

Because of this, we are able to concentrate on what is most important to us; the care of our residents.

As a charity we are regulated by the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and are obliged to spend our funds on delivering our objectives.

CARE PLANS

Every resident has a unique care plan which is individually tailored to their own personal needs; developed from information provided, where appropriate, by input from family, social workers, the NHS and GP.

These care plans give our team the information they need for medication, health and dependency requirements.

Care plans are reviewed regularly and continuously refined to ensure that they are current and reflect any change in circumstances.
