Dignity. Trust. Love.
DIGNITY.

We value our residents’ independence and provide individual care accordingly.

Each resident has a care plan, tailored to their needs, which has been developed from information provided by themselves, their families, social workers, the NHS and their GP.

This plan provides our staff with detailed information on general health, medication and dependency requirements, to help provide the best level of care and help create the relationships that are vital for residents’ wellbeing. These plans are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure they cover any change in circumstances.

TRUST.

Our dedicated team of more than 40 staff are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council and work to the National Care Standards to deliver care tailored to the individual needs of our 30 residents.

All have, or are working towards achieving, the appropriate qualifications to meet the governing body's regulations. Staff are also registered with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme and regularly liaise with other professional bodies where necessary.

LOVE.

We love what we do and it's important to us that our residents feel loved and cared for. This philosophy has been imbedded into the home and the training of our staff since the days of our founder.

We welcome individuals into a home that is safe, caring, relaxing and happy, and one that represents and promotes the dignity and rights of privacy of each resident.

We pride ourselves in providing the highest possible level of care and constantly review our training and provision to ensure we continue to raise the quality bar.

WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Isobel Fraser Care Home. We are an independent residential home that has been providing care with dignity, trust and love for 120 years.

Our founder, Isobel Fraser, established the home in 1899 and we have occupied our purpose-built premises in a quiet and secluded part of Inverness since 1938.

Our focus is to provide the best care, tailor-made to suit each individual resident, and to ensure they are all comfortable, happy, stimulated and as active as possible.
